Häfele, a manufacturer of functional hardware, on Monday said that it has started operations at a new local production facility in Maharashtra as part of its long-term localisation plan in India. The initiative supports the Government of India’s Make in India programme and marks the company’s first step towards establishing a manufacturing base in the country.
